I've got the traction control light on in my Fleetwood. I pulled the codes and got the following.

C0064 Throttle Position Signal Malfunction

C0073 Spark Retard Monitoring Malfunction

Is the TPS bad? What values should I be seeing with a scan tool? Can it be re-calibrated? Thanks guys.

i believe it works between 0-5 volts. My FSM tells how to test it, prob just probe a wire and see if it has a smooth ride from 0-5 volts. Otherwise they are only 20 some bucks and easy to change. Usually when they go bad youll have a really bad 1-2 shift.

The funny this is, the car runs/drives and shifts perfectly.

could depend on HOW its broke. Maybe if it malfunctions in the lower range it will shift bad and if it malfunctions in the upper range it will throw a code. Who knows. If it throws a code though something is wrong
