Guy who have ran a twin turbo setup what size downpipes did you run? I recently acquired twin system and im thinking its a mease system. It has a 2 1/2 down pipes off each turbo. Will those flow enough to support a 600hp build? I will be upgrading turbos but wondering what others have used. Also will a 3 inch exhaust be needed or will a good flowing 2 1/2 work? Thanks for your help once i get further into build i will start posting more pics

Thanks palamino do you know what size turbos you had and how much boost you were running? Was that a alky kit on the car? The ones that came with the kit i puchased were very small and looks like they had the wastegates maxed out.

That was an alky kit supplied by Keith. The turbos on my motor were Garrett T3/4 hybrids using a 57 trim compressor and 50 AR housing along with 63 AR turbine with a stage 3 wheel. They had an integral adjustable 10 lb wastegate in the downpipe. For the dyno run it was at around 7 PSI and the most I remeber seeing on my in-car guage was 9 when I took it to the dragstrip. It ran a 12.06 at 115 mph with a 3.42 gear, 3500 stall and street tires at full wagon weight.

Mine was running 2.5" downpipes. No dyno but 140+ mph @ 4200 lbs should be over 600 hp... :D

After having a few conversations with guys who have ran these kits i realized those were standard down sizes. GGuillaumec gave me some great info and set me n the right direction. Prob going with the efi 24x conversion so more down time
