Per everything I could find on the Internet, I got the F-body 1LE endlinks, non-prevailing bushing bolts, 32mm GM bushing (nope, not Energy Suspension, sorry!) and of course the 81 WS6 F-body/F-car front swaybar.

I am unable to get the dern bracket AROUND the 32mm rubber bushings! Should I dremel the bushing? I've tried everything, including greasing the bracket, then holding the bar still and hitting it with a 10lb hammer, I can't get the bushing to go deep enough into the bracket - so that it is flush and I can then bolt it up...

I know a few of you got the bushings to work with the stock brackets, but ahem, HOW ??

If I don't hear back, I'm gonna dremel the dern bushings...

I had to trim the tops of the bushings to get them flush with the bracket. Probably wasn't the right thing to do but I got pretty frustrated as well. Seems to be holding up fine.

I tightened the SH*T out of my bolts and it drew the bracket right up to the frame. I had to make the bolts tighter than I should have, but it worked.... Yes, as BlackNite said, you may consider trimming the bushing down a little. I just let brite force take care of it for me though...
I also had to bend open the brackets a little bit at first to get the bushings in, then squeezed them back shut with a huge pair of Channel locks.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

Spend the $20 on the Energy Suspension bushings, and turn this into a 15 minute install.

Been there, done that.....trust me that $20 is WELL spent!

Just did..

According to *MY* under the car at 11pm with a string measurements..the F-car 2nd Gen WS6 sway bar measures 4.25 inches in circumference... if there are 25.4 mm in one inch, then an F-car 2nd Gen WS6 sway bar is approx 108mm in circumference...

Hope this helps people out...

(I make no guarantees that my eyes, mag light, string, etc is correct at 11pm! I can only vouch that the 81 WS6 sway bar fits...other swaybars may not align with the end links correctly....)
