Upgrade The Search Function....?

Curious since the forum has been sold over to a large and profitable company. Any chance we can get the almost useless search function updated? LS1Tech.com has a pretty decent search function. Would be nice to be able to search for phrases including small words etc. Maybe find a way to not search sigs as well.....

Just for anyone that doesn't know this trick yet:

An alternative to using the site's search is to just go to google, and preface your search with

site:http://www.impalassforum.com/vBulletin/

Then put a space after it and type in what you're searching for. This will only return results from the forum, and tends to work a little better in my experience
^^^^^^^ That's what I do most of the time.

once apon a time the forum had a really good search till the forum was changed to Vbulletin.

In the meantime, you can put an * after 3 letter words: LT1*.
, you can put an * after 3 letter words: LT1*.
That somewhat works. Gives you way too much crap your not searching for though.
Google is the most accurate way to search the forum.
Good tips here to help out this site's lame-o search engine
Just to stress how screwed up the search is around here.
I searched " rear main seal replacement".
"no matches found" in any of the forums.
Then I searched "rear main seal" and sure enough on the first page a thread titled " Rear main seal replacement advice" . Seriouslycwm3
