Hey folks, it's been a while since i've posted over here, but I have a question that needs to be answered ASAP if at all possible.

Does anyone know what size/thread (corse or fine) the two bolts are that go in the bottom of the front shocks, as well as the size/thread of the nut that goes on the top? Useful info is GREATLY appreciated! I already tried doing a search with no luck, and I don't have a spare nut/bolt bin in my garage that I can test misc hardware out of.

BTW, this is for a 96 SS. Thanks in advance!

Don't hold me to this;
upper nut, 5/16"-24 ~fine
bottom bolts, 5/16"-18 x 1" long ~coarse

I don't know if this helps, but I just replaced the lower hardware. I couldn't find a parts store with matching bolts & speed nuts, so I went to Napa with an existing bolt and nut, and got four new bolts/nuts. I'd have to look at the package for the size, but it's back home. The bolt just passes through the arm, so if you get new hardware, it doesn't really matter what size it is, as long as it fits through the hole.
