So awhile back I picked up a new Corvette brake booster hose since I'm planning on installing the Vette fuel rail covers at some point and I just went out to swap the Vette hose on my car and quickly discovered there is more than just the hose required. The Impala hose is a different size (larger ID) than the Vette hose. No biggie I thought, I'll just buy the Vette vacuum fitting for the booster and also the fitting in the manifold as well, that was until I found out they want $183 for that plastic one way vacuum fitting. So what did you guys do about this? I can't imagine there is anything special or different between these valves/fittings other than nipple size. Is hitting the wrecking yard my best option to find one with the correct nipple size?
