could anyone tell me how they installed the hood spring.. is supposed to be installed on the fiberglass hood ? So when you pool on the hood latch the hood
Wood pop up any suggestions would definitely would appreciate it
When I installed mine it didn't require the hood spring. When I had the hood properly aligned there was enough spring in the hood itself and the lift struts to "pop" it up.
Thanks I'll have to try that the hood is perfectly aligned I just need to buy the 95 camero hood struts then will see what happens. I bought my hood from streettrends where did you buy yours?
I needed to add another 1/2 inch of foam insulation tape to the top of the RAISS to match the bottom of the VFN hood. But it was a good fit. If your question is about if the ram air hood scoop openings match up well.. I didn't get that type of hood.
yeah my question was about the ram air hood. my main concern is that water will get into the engine. "i understand the flaps near the openings, just a concern for me"
My guess would be that not any more water than already gets in the motor from being blown into the front grill opening and rammed into the RAISS by the AirForce2 most use..
