Not a deal breaker on an old car, but I wonder why it has a salvage title.

It states wrecked. Logically that indicates a buyback. It apparently was not serious as shown by slightly collapsed bumper shocks one end, and slightly unaligned bumper on the other end. Insurance SAS ain't gonna waste $15,000 in employees' wages hunting down $6,000 in aftermarket and JY parts for a car that KBB gives $2,500-3,000 for. Driver's seat = they're all eventually like that if you don't use seat memory. Somebody'll make out on this one, even with a $1,000 JY Caprice LT1 thrown in.

I bought my s10 as a wreck and out of curiosity, asked the owner "What happened?" He laughed and said that he dropped his cup of coffee and leaned over to get it, traffic stopped and he did not. He was okay, but the truck wasn't. I figured that someone interested in buying the Caddy would want to know the back story of how it earned its salvage title.
