Let me know what you think. I am looking for a good sound daily driver setup. Should I just spend the extra $$$ and go with the Hotchkis? Thanks in advance!

I will say that the ST springs are a PAIN IN THE ASS when you have to jack the car up. The rear springs are too short and fall out of their perches. You have to jack the axle up and seat the springs and lower the car and axle down together. I get tired of messing with them all the time.

I like the stance but hate the hassle. I would seriously consider the Vogtlands.

Vogtlands all the way.... I love mine.. Good ride and good price... They are the same spring as the Hotchkis springs when comparing the specs on each.. Plus they seem to ship sooner...

Sounds good guys! Yeah I was considering these springs cause the Hotchkis were kinda pricy...oh well if I dont like them I guess I can always Ebay em!!

Spartus: did you have the same problem as 4drss when you put in the voglants?

4drss: I hear you! Real pain especilly when you only have one jack...

Anyways guys thanks for the replies!

Branz, the problem is with the ST springs, not the Vogtlands... No issues with the vogtland springs what so ever.

Way2SSlow: car looks cherry man...I hear ya about those speed bumps, especially since I have 4" tips coming out behind the rear tires...Oh well I was admiring those z28 tips so I might just swap them after the drop...pretty sure I can find a Camaro owner who would love 4" tips here in Hawaii....

Spartus: Done deal...I just got contacted by the club pres. here in Hawaii and I just emailed him with what I need....hopefully he can get them for a better price...Gotta love these fellow B-Body owners!!!!

Thanks again guys!!!

After installing a set of ST's a couple of years ago on MadMav's car, and just installing a set of Hotchkis springs on my own car, I would have to say I like the ride of the Hotchkis better, and when I jack up the back of the car, the springs stay IN! Not only that, the ST's REALLY settled over the the 1st year they were in! That's not necessarily a bad thing, ;) just something to consider.

sorry guys I forgot to ask what shocks I should use? I know the voglant springs are 1.5 drop...do I need a shorter shock?

No, any shock seems to work fine with them.. I'd get the stiffer Bilstiens... Even with my Eibachs I still never bottomed the shocks out.
