MUST BE NICE!! I ran 295 miles on a tank of gas (put 15 gal in) and ran another 300 before the look-idiot-you-need-gas light came on. AVG 20MPG. Followed DBeasst here at 65 and got 26MPG. I need to slow down

Just got checked in at the Microtel. Took an hour to get across the border at Queenston. When I told the customs officer I was going to Waterloo he said "Even Americans don't go to Waterloo." Then I told him I was going to a station wagon car show and he said "Are you for real?".

He was actually really nice and pleasant to deal with, which was a refreshing change.

Hopefully they will have heard this a few times by Saturday morning and believe it - I plan to cross at Lewiston or Whirlpool in a few hours...

If an olive-green/wood wagon is at the state park on Saturday, all went well. If not, it didn't work out!

Well the wife and I are here after a 900 mile trip and meeting up with Big-Low&Wide about 250 miles out. We got separated, the wife was driving and follow the nav and not the guy in front of her, so we took the scenic drive. It was pretty cool though.

Aside from losing a C-piller outside trim piece the old girl held up well for about 150K. We also got 20 MPG at around 75 w/ the a/c on.

After hitting all the bugs in IL...rain for two states and baking the rest of the day...We've got a ton of cleaning to do in the morning.

It's about time for booze....
