Man, i have nearly completed my 3rd largest purchase of all time. After what seemed like forever here is my final list of audio goods:

1) Pioneer DEH-P77DH head unit
2) Planet Audio REM6500 5-ch. amp
3) Focal 165V2 6.5" components
4) Kenwood KFC 6907 6x9
5) Kicker C10 subs
6) Trunk Kit (still to be ordered)
7) 35 sq. ft. brown bread

Even though ebay and ikesound.com got me some good deals, it's still a good chunk of coin that got ripped from my wallet.
I hope this upgrade will be as worthy as everyone says it is. Even though i like having what toys i have, I'd rather not do it using my money.

Anyone have comments on my new investment?

I think you'll be able to hear the difference between the focal and kenwood speakers, I personaly try not to mix brands or even series of speakers that will be covering the same frequency range.
After droping that much cash I'd sell kenwoods and get another set of focals for the rear you'll be much happier.

I think the kenwoods are a waste of money. I would save a couple hundred bucks and get rid of the kenwoods and get a smaller amp, but that is JMO. There isn't anything wrong with not having speakers in the rear deck.

The majority of people that compete in SQ don't use their rear speakers. I'll be using MB Quart PSD's for components and some MB Quart DKC 6x9. I was even thinking of getting some mid bass speakers and place those in the rear.
