There probably manuifactured in China, that's why there cheaper compared to other AL heads.

Paterson is only 1/2 hr from my house and never heard of Promar Engines.

i'm curious to hear more on this. I looked the place up on google maps and you can see the "street view" of the place (brick building). Theres a fat lady walking by a trash pile, pretty classy joint. If you're near there, you should go check out their operations. The building sure didn't look like a manufacturing facility, that's for sure.

That's true. Stock LT1 casting heads ported by someone who knows what they are doing can make great power.

On another note I love my AFR LT4 heads. The ports were so pretty I was tempted to make a centerpiece for my dining room table out of them. But they look nice installed too.
