Are there any newer Chevy rims that will straight-up fit a stock 94-96 Impala? From a Corvette? Or Camaro? Other OEM? Anything staggered? Thanks.

I think you meant 5on5 aka 5x5 aka 5x127

not sure what was the last year the full size gm trucks with the big 5 bolt pattern came out but after that there isnt any newer gm with the same bolt pattern.

This website Road Kill Customs has a finder on site that you can search by vehicle or by bolt pattern. Also does anybody know why GM used the 5x5 bolt pattern on the B-body and D-body when every other car that GM has made from 1980 onwards used the 5x4.75 pattern including the 1977 - 1990 B-Body excluding 9C1's? Though I don't know how accurate that site is as there are obvious mistakes like listing the 94-97(yes 1997) Impala SS as having 16x8 wheels. Though looking at the site it lists 2008 and newer Jeep Wranglers as using the 5x5 bolt pattern, so that may be a potential source of rims barring them not being emblazoned with the Jeep logo on them. The Jeep JK forum lists these as having the 5x5 pattern: 1999-2004 Grand Cherokee WJ, 2005-Current Grand Cherokee WK, 2006-Current Commander XK, 2007-Current Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK. Of course they would only work IF the backspacing is proper. - Peter

I had 77 olds B & C bodies with 5x5, which was only on cars with 403's then.
I'm guessing it may have been for cars with heavier towing capabilities?

77-79 C bodies were equipped with 5x5 bolt circles also, perhaps some later ones too.

Increased durability.

That's why the civilian 1977-1989 B-bodies had 5 x 4.75 but the 9C1's had 5 x 5.

Also, the 1990's B&D body cars were among the heaviest cars made by GM since the 1970's.
