Phil I plan to participate. My car has been on jackstands for months, that's why I've been such a stranger. It will barely be ready for ImpalaFest. I will be out there, I just try not to be too hard on the car in the heat.

I'm still amazed by this car - an itty bitty 350 pushing a tank DEEP into the 12's
Keep the pressure on those stroker guys, Andy
I'm trying, believe me
My car is just a bit more on the ragged edge than the other heads/cams cars. Anyone else can do it. Not many Impala guys want to drive with 12:1 CR, 4.10's, a huge, stinky, non smog legal cam, and a 4,000+ stall and that's the difference. We'll see this winter. Thanks for the compliment Pat!

I love that low 12 car of Andy's too!
That is one well tuned package. To all who think Andy has a stroker, (no one on this thread but there are a few out there), I say get a life.
His 350 with 306 cammed monster is well able to keep up with the strokers, (and pass most).
12.3 should be yours Andy, in cool weather.
And even the 12.2 quite possibly.
I'm shootin for 12.6 with my 227 cam 350LT1 this winter. The right gears and stall is all that I need for that and I have the right stall and gears in the car now.
Have fun at ImpalaFest you guys.
I don't have a stroker and that's all that matters. When my shortblock goes south anyone is welcome to watch me tear it down. Heck I can't afford $5K + for a shortblock, I'm still paying for the heads/cam! It's not cheap getting these boats to move quickly! Karl I think you can go much quicker now that your SLP converter in gone. With 109 MPH trap speeds you got more in her. Good luck!
