I need to replace an in-tank harness. Most of the aftermarket ones look like thinner wire and the wrong connectors on one end. I know fuel pump wiring has a specific insulation to protect from degradation. Does anyone know what this wire is designated (SXL, GPT..)?

If not going the full-blown Walbro route, then alot of guys get the 'upgraded thicker wire' harness to go with their new pump. I installed a combination of Airtex and Spectre, just can't remember which was the harness and which the pump.

Tefzel is what I put in fuel cells

I'm sure you can buy all over but these guys have great stock and will sell by the foot

They also have fuel proof shrink tube.

Thanks for sharing this -
I remember when I had to redo my burned in-tank wiring I couldn't bring myself to use the thin aftermarket Airtex/Carter/etc harnesses, and as noted by Fuzzcar others had the wrong connectors. I ended up just cleaning up and soldering the originals back in. This is a great reference for next time.
