I'm not sure where exactly to post this.
I've been thinking of checking out my sway bars in Vegas. The autocross is sounding tempting.

I'm not looking to spend too much money. What improvements would help my setup for a first timer? I just did a new p/s pump. I was told that a p/s cooler is a must.

Do the stiff Bilsteins run well in that kind of driving?

I will redo the brakes with new rotors and pads before Vegas. A tune up was done not too long ago.
Would the brake bolt mod help?

Would it be risky considering I am driving 300 miles to/from Vegas in it?

Thanks guys.

I wouldn't say that a powersteering cooler is a must for autocross. Or even short road racing.

Autocross is not super hard on your car. You can drive 300 miles and then autocross. You can autocross your car "as-is". You don't have to upgrade it just to autocross. Unless you want too of course.

Thump : if you didn't touch the car from now, it'd be fine. At most, you're just looking at throwing some extra air in the tires. For a "street tire" setup in autocross, you're usually looking at about 45-50 PSI in front and 40-45 PSI in back.

With the stiff sidewall race tires, I run considerably less air pressure than that (in the 30's on both).
