A shop has a used ac delco vented opti for 50bucks with 85 k on it ..... I'm in desperate need for a opti today to finish my car should I get it or hold out ?? Need advise pls

I would get it, really all you have to do is put it on connect it up and see if the car fires, you don't have to have the water pump on, you can run the car for a few seconds without damage. if so you are good, I just pulled a used opti out of the boneyard today from a Shaheen rebuilt 9C1 for my roadmaster, hope it works, but really that is all that you have to do, worst case it doesn't.

Many opti's are dead with half that mileage [age is a factor too].

I'd pass but you gotta do what you gotta do

I'd take it apart, look things over and at minimum intsall a new cap and rotor.

If the housing is gud then. Y don't u buy a rebuild opti kit from advance auto. I bought one last year for $110 or so
