Will the stiff or soft Bilsteins make the Impala sit higher than it would with the stock shocks?

Not enough that you could measure. The gas pressure will take some force to push them into position, but I doubt it will support enough of the car to measure the difference.

Depends what shocks were in there before.

Bilsteins are a "High Pressure" design. They will raise the car around 1/4" over a "Low Pressure" design such as the Konis.

Interesting question. Would they raise the height of the car if replacing stock shocks?
