when I installed my 10 pound bottle I looked to see if I could put the trunk kit in there later.
I don't think you can, when you drill the holes to install the bracket you can only go so far "in", the frame gets in the way and then there's the gas tank, I think it's the same on the other side ( driver side).

but if you find a way to do it "without" removing the tank to mount the brackets. let us know.

I'd really like to have the trunk kit put in, but I don't see it happening. not unless I go the rout that George did and out a fuel sell in the trunk, in which case the trunk kit becomes obsolite :D

PS: you know how the topic of this thread reads? LOL
here's how it reads:

will it fit(inmyss).... :D :D :D.

hm, I didn't think of that, putting the bottle "inside" the compartment thing, I was thinking about putting it outside of the little compartment that gets build by the kit. I have a hard time taking the bottle out not ( the bolts for the bracket are on the right, not the left side, so it makes it hard to reach, if I did it the way you did it'll be impossible to remove the bottle.(.

how do you take the bottle out of there? remove the trunk kit panel? I don't mean just opening the door to get to the bottle, I mean "removing the whole thing" everytime you wanna fill the bottle?

I just have to disconnect the supply line and remove 2 10mm bolts and the bottle will slide right out. I remove the hinge cover to access the supply line. The whole operation is about 5 min. I can also remove the whole panel in the same amout of time.
