Just did this mod today, got the arms from the junkyard and used Bosch Evolution blades in 20" and 22". I didn't have to lengthen either of the washer hoses. Haven't tried them yet, but they sweep silent and smooth across dry glass unlike the OEM setup. The look with the Bosch blades is very sleek and modern, and I love how they fold up. Also I don't think its been said, but these arms have dual washer jets on them.

I did this mod to my wagon, but I used wiper arms from a 2000 Monte, that a friend was scrapping. I love the mod, but I cant get the washers to squirt properly. I may install squirters on the hood from some other car to get the system to work.

Just change the jets on the arms. Takes two seconds. Check that motor on the bottle too. Just grab one from the junkyard for nothing. (just in case it doesnt work)

The Yards around here have tons of LeSabres, Park Avenues, Bonnies, and Auroras. I can get you a pair if you want?
So do these dame wiper arms come on any of these cars?

Thanks for that advice. I tried air through the jets, so they're not clogged. And I swapped the pump with one off a junkyard 93 Brougham. No luck! I even tried switching to the one for the tailgate, which works fine. Still no luck!

I thought I remembered someone on the forum say that the W-car wipers will not work. Do they wipe smooth? Check your hoses, there may be a clog in the hose, or the hose may get crimped. Happened to my buddy's 95 Berretta

I just did this upgrade today, after finally using up my inventory of Anco refill blades on the 9C1 arms.

I'm looking forward to the rain we're supposed to get next week, before I take her off the road for the year.

Wiper Arm Bolt Covers

Hello - first post.

Refurbishing my Dad's completely original 96 WX3 in preparation for selling it - lots more posts coming soon about the fun I've had doing it (and questions), but in the meantime, is there a trick to getting those bolt covers off without damaging them? I need to paint the arms.

Thanks for all the advice I've been reading on these boards - have helped immensely!!

Are you referring to the plastic caps on the end of the arms which cover the stud & nut? Mine came off very easily. I got under the round end and pulled up.

Today was the first day in the rain with the new arms, and I can just say I am so thrilled with the performance of the new arms & Bosch blades. It's amazing to have such a quiet and clear view.
