Wiper motor stopped working. Can anyone give me a break down on how to test for power going to the motor ? Which lead on the plug ? To use test light on ? Fuse checks out OK.
Worked yesterday and now not working.

Test techniques are important. The wiper motor uses a lot of power and both power and ground need to be able to supply it. You may have to use a headlight bulb to check power and ground. A volt meter or LED test light may give false readings. A normal test light might work fine.

If disconnecting and reconnecting get it to work clean the contacts in the shell and the wiper.

In Canada in winter the copper "fingers" inside the gear box may not be making contact due to being frozen. IE: frozen water or grease.

If you can warm up the gear box without melting any plastic it might start working. Overnight in heated parking might get it going but will not be a permanent fix.

It will probably be the module on the motor. I have one I can sell for $50 + shipping.
