OK guys here's the break down:
Winner of the bracket class: Casey Aldridge with the White Whale - 1995 Roadmaster wagon. In the semifinal round I pulled out Roger - S1996S because of a weird sound coming from his rearend. I'm sure he would have put up a good fight and had a great chance to make the final round.
The NA and Power Adder class was combined due to lack of participation to a heads up class.
Combination Motorsports brought down the 735HP beasstie and ran some 11 second passes - the second pass he was trying to get hard into it with no traction. In talking with them after the show the intent seems to be to do some suspension work and a roll bar to make it at least 11.x certified.
One of our AZISSO members, Brad - BBBADSS ran a 13.22 in competition with a stock motor no headers car. He then upped his nitrous to a 150 shot and became the new fastest B-body in AZ with a [email protected] pass.
That's OK Brad, just wait until next week once my tranny/heads/cam go in!
Also our new fastest NA guy is Tony - tonyss96dcm with a [email protected] with ET Streets but also ran a [email protected] with 20's on his car.

It was a good turn out and dang close to a perfect show, hope to see more people out next time!
Thanks for coming down everyone, hope you had a great time.
EDIT - forgot to mention that Andy put on his chef hat and cooked hamburgers, hot dogs and steaks for everyone.

Hmm, an 11.4 at 2200 ft (density altitude 5312 ft) beats an 11.7 at 1000 ft in most peoples books. They dont need the time slip, they got the video:

Ok since this doesn't seem to want to end how about this. I put out a challenge to all areas of the country next year to meet at the Tulsa ISSCA event for the battle royal. Bring your east coast cold weather/low altitude cars to meet the west coast high temps/high altitude cars to see what really happens. Forget about all those correction factors! If we're all in the same weather/altitude that will see who really runs what times and who's faster than who.
I lay down the East VS West Super Heavy Shootout! Missippi river being the east/west boundary.

Bring it on boys I can vouch for some fast AZ cars to be there how about the Cali and Vegas guys?

Plan it now as I think a whole lot of crap talking is about to begin!

[Micheal Buffer]Llllllllet's get rrrrrrrrrreadyyyyyy to rrrrrrrrrrrumblllllllle[/Michael Buffer]

I too am tired about hearing the smack that's been going on. Coast or no coast. I'm not claiming nothing but a snifter of good Cognac and a mild cigar to go with my digi-cam to snap some shots of the event.

But I'll be more than happy to thumb wrestle with the best of you smack talking fools. :D

[Judge Lane]Now let's get it on![/Judge Lane]

Synthetic head light fluid, $1.60 Coleman Thermos-Stat, Titanium muffler bearings, 10" custom made Budniks aka "Nubs" wrapped in 275 x 35 "Not-yo-mommas" AVS Sports, I need a RAISS, $3.73 gears, 19 piece Cardboard Fiber dash kit, Custom tear on driver seat, Black Carpet but technically still gray, Tried them, tried those, so what the hell,...Tri-Y's, barking doggs and high flow cats, circular filed air pump, Stage-1-Malcolm-X head/cam/intake package, junk in the trunk, Hal Q-A1 Steak sauce, and a 3 CD box set of Yanni's greatest hits.

That is Hilarious!

Let's see some Fleetwooders there too! I'm tired of being the fastest Fleetwood everywhere I go! :D
G
Mike I would love it!! But I think we need to meet in the middle, so it is the same drive for everyone. Personally it is hard for us to go to FL, and it would be hard for the east coast guys to come to AZ.

I would love to meet in Texas or some other track in the middle.

Oh, By the way.
Hey Paul, Why don't you give me a call I am sure I can work out your/cars problems and make your car fast too. Until then keep talking and praying that I don't show up where you are racing. The sig still stands whenever you are ready. Show me the money. I don't care if its a $1.00 race. One last thing when you lose are you going to post that time slip. :D

Ok now its gettin sorda reminding me of the Tupac Vs. Biggie East Coast Vs. West Coast battle! Geez! That is a helluva an idea though. In the immortal words of Scott Hall..."Don't Sing It........BRING IT!!!!" It won't matter though cuz my jet-powered SS will be ready for all comers!

gotta stick up for my racin buddy Paul here. Anyone who has built a car and combo that can hot lap all day, run 4 or 5 round in the big dog and go to the finals, and mix inbetween 3 or 4 rounds of bracket racing, all in the course of 2 hours, and still be able to run 11.64 @ 117, has got one awesome set up. A 1st class set up. A reliable and manly set up and one that is respected by all in attendance.
If the nitrous is deployed in the future, just please be carefull and keep it in the groove.

I wasn't going to respond but what the hell.

Unlike what the Vegas boys are doing I have NEVER said my car was faster than theirs.
To the best of my recollection I have never
said anything bad about them personally or their car not being what they claim.

My WHOLE point was/is if YOU SAY YOUR CAR RUNS XX.XX and you are going to come to an open Forum and claim it. PROVE IT.

No excuses, PERIOD.

I claim that my car runs mid 11's. It does and I have a stack of slips to prove it.

I seem to be in the minority on this whole issue so I'll just be quiet and let the bragging and boasting continue.

And 4DRLT4, I don't know you, never met you
but if you want to take a cheap shot at me to stand up for your boys you better do better than that.

I also chnaged my sig back, and I would presume that the personal jab aginst me will be removed from other sigs as well.

So does this mean everyone wants to meet in St Louis instead? I've not been there nor do I know anything about that show, is there drag racing there as well?
That would be kind of cool because I grew up about 100 miles from there in southern Illinois

I thought everyone knew. The next national ISSCA event is going to be in Oklahoma.
Tulsa I do Believe. (Maybe it was OK City?)
That is an excellent venue and hopefully can encourage the western clubs to attend. Would be very awesome to have a big turnout.
Of course there will be drag racing.

You know, now that I think of it, Paul was in the Finals of the Power Adder class at I2K2. And the finals of SSHS2 Big Dawg.

Yes it's dangerous to take a stand here, but if it's not entirely obviouse that one guy and only one guy is going to all the ISSCA events, and showing, and racing, and winning rounds......and who might that one guy be? I'll let the question hang.
