Placing the strongest,and least damaged knob in the center position is the best strategy.

I don't need a knob. Something isn't working right inside the temperature selector. It doesn't click as you rotate the dial, and the stops at the end of it's range of travel have some give in them. I'm pretty sure the plastic housing that contains the dial internals is cracked.

Have a buddy parting out a 96k mile 1994 B4U Caprice. I'm sure I could get him to go along with $50 shipped,and it would include knobs...
