I strugled to find a leak on my 9C1's trunk area, after replacing the trunklind weatherstripping. I found it with the help of my Dad using the garden hose while I was in the trunk with a flash light.
I had a leak behind the right tail light. There is a vertical seam, and the seam sealer was cracked, and allowed rain to slowly drip into the trunk area.
If you can get a helper to use a garden hose, that would be the best bet in finding the source.
