Help with 92 caprice rear axle swap

I`d like to put a posi in my car and have rear disc brakes. That being said will the impala ss rear end fit between my skirts? I figure that would be the cheapest and easiest way to get both. Also once that is all said and done, what size wheels will fit inside the skirts besides the stock option. Thanks in advance.

I had an Impala rear in my Roadmaster with stock steel wheels, which worked fine. SS wheels rubbed the skirt though. Try and find one from a 94-96 9C1. They have the same width housing as your current rear end and came with disc brakes.
