Short to "open" circuit. Broken wire likely cause.

I've got the same problem on my 93 wagon and 93 caprice. Changed both sensors on both cars. One on the intake manifold and the one on the driver's side head and still no temp gauge. One of my cars has a fail proof 180 thermostat.Thinking it could be the pigtails or the grounds. Any other ideas out there would help out though

Passenger side head is the gauge on LT1. Ultra common for that little green wire to break and cause the gauge not to work.

Changed both sensors and pigtails and grounds. Temp gauge still isn't working thinking a wire is broken somewhere or the gauge itself is bad
