9C1 decal placement ?

I'm looking for 9C1 decals, (see my wanted ad) but got me thinking about where they actually went ?

The 'use overdrive for high speed pursuits' is obviously for the gauge cluster, at the bottom

The 'close windows above 140mph' At top or bottom of front windows or on rear windows too ?

I've seen 9C1 decals on ebay ect. Were these fitted by factory & if so where do they go ?

Those are not factory items. Where you put them is up to you.

'Use overdrive...' is on the cluster directly above the 'PRND21'
'close windows...' is at bottom center of rear view mirror

Questionable as to whether these were factory or not. Given the capabilities of the vehicles' stock Special Equipment Options (speed limiter delete, etc...), they very well may have been factory installed to prevent liability, educate LEO or what have you. It's also likely they're factory installed because if not, they would have had to have been installed 3rd party by the various LEO agencies purchasing them (along w/ light bars, sirens, community specific badging, etc...) and I doubt were it up to each individual agency that there would have been as many of them installed (the same way) as there are (or rather were). However, I really don't know for sure on that one.

Don't forget the 'Child Safety Restraint' stickers on both "C" pillar windows (bottom, center) for the rear door lockout. That one WAS factory.

You can purchase the original stickers here at NAISSO.

Yes, my '93 9C1 has the Use Overdrive sticker on the trim piece at the center of the gauge cluster, which is under the digital "Certified" speedo. I bought this car just after it came out of service so the decal was either factory or placed by the upfitter when the spotlights, extra dome light and lightbar were added.

I received some of the overdrive stickers from George Bates when I asked them mail me the refurb paperwork from 2000.

However, I did purchase a window sticker from the super store. I wasn't sure where it went but put it on my drivers window. Since I had window tint reinstalled, that sticker disappeared.

I did not think of it going on the mirror. Now I'll order a new one and place it as so.

Thanks!

Thanks for info guys. Unfortunatly, it doesnt seem that NAISSO ship to the United Kingdom. Their online checkout wont accept a UK post (zip) code. Nor have they bothered to answer any of the 4 emails I sent them

I really want these 2 decals for my car. Somehow a Crown Vic dash decal wont look right !
Is there anybody US that would be prepared to purchase them for me & then send on the the UK ?
I can paypal the cost before you purchase them & the postage to the UK.

I know I'm a newbie here, but checkout my feedback on my ebay account which will show I'm not a messer.

Hmmn, I'll check and see what's going on this week. It used to be a fairly robust forum, but died. Figured they'd kept the SStore running. If I can, I'll middle man the stuff to you. It's not a huge amount and you're not asking me to accept a Kenyan cashier's check, so...

Hopefully, you'll be able to complete the Tx online. If not, lmk, however camels and goats are unacceptable. We can definitely talk sheep though...
