im having a problem with the controls on my heater if i change the heater / ac switch to bi level or vent or anything else the air only comes out of the vents is that the actual dial broken or what ???

me intrested to know as well. my buddies lumina is doing the same thing. im thinkin that it is the switch itself thou. thats what were gonna replace unless anyone else has an idea.

It could be the switch or the valve assembly.. Not sure if it's one in the same on our cars or not.

My old lumina with pushbutton controls had a seperate valve assembly.

On the lumina if it's got pushbuttons the vaccuum control is above the pass side kick panel. I had a problem where the hose assembly wasn't sealing up good.
