Thumbs up

The ImpalaSS Forum has grown to be what I believe is the preeminent B-body forum out there. I still get the IGBA '94-96 B-body digest but rarely visit the 9C1 egroup and never the Naisso. Just not enough time and the ImpalaSS Forum is so well laid out and has enough activity to cover all the topics of interest.

Since the ImpalaSS Forum has progressed so far beyond the pure WX3 cars to its siblings under the skin, I think it makes sense to divide the "B-Body" section under "91 thru 96 B-Body/Wagons"into "Roadmaster", "Caprice/9C1", and "Fleetwoood" to cover the idiosyncracies peculiar to those variants.

So, "Roadmaster", "Caprice/9C1", and "Fleetwood" forum sub-sections under the "91 thru 96 B-Body/Wagons" section, please.

Thanks much.

the way we have it now is perfect. We don't want to dilute the forums too much that there is virtually no activity going on in them, know what I'm saying? I think as is is perfect...

Hey I think if we really needed some grouping
it would be simply, TBI cars (91-93) and LT1,L99 (94-96). Impalas are a class of there own.
This would help keep info
about each group of engines and drivelines
together. Other than those two major differences
the chassis and body are equally comparable,
(ya I know the 9C1 frame, yada yada) you know
what I mean.
If everyone replies to this topic with an answer, maybe we will see some good change.
Get those replies in.

I think that the subsections are clear cut enough. Although I have a Caprice and not the ever so popular 9C1, I still spend far more time on this site looking under the Impala specific topics. My reason, the Impala, Caprice, Roadmaster, and Wagons are all really the same car. When I need to ask a Caprice specific question, there is a place that I can do it, which is good enough for me. The only differences between the cars is cosmetic or trivial. So the 9C1 has better suspention, but you can put all your friends in a Wagon and still fit a cooler and grill. So the Impala has stylish moldings, but the Caprice costs a lot less. The point is, they are all equally good cars, it just depends on the taste of the person behind the wheel. I think that there should be more unity and respect between the owners. We are all out to have fun. Just my two cents.
