now when people say "drilled air box" does that just mean they took their airbox and drilled a few holes in the front to alow more air to enter? also does anything have a pic or show where the holes are drilled?

Yes, for us TBI owners, that's exactly what it means. If you remove the front of the air box, you'll see reinforcing ribs along the front edge. Drill the biggest hole that will fit between the ribs.
