Damn, GM better come up with a boat twice as big as the B-body. Then if someone will hit me their car will be totaled and I'll drive away.

well some dumb a$$ hit me like two months ago so the guys insurance was going to pay for the repairs it took forever for the insurnce co to give me a check well i finaly got the chevy in the shop that i work at got all the parts ordered the car all taken apart and everything then the bodyman that was working on my car found some hidden damage or somthin bunch of bull shhh well i'll just say that the first estimate started around $2,300 range and now with the new estimate it came out to around $4,200 they said the car is worth $5,700 and that its not worth fixing but i'll find more out tommarrow at work

Sorry to hear it dude, get a good 9C1 so you can enjoy it. And I bet your LTZ has nicer seats and other interior amenities, so you may wanna take them out and then when you get your new 9C1 just put them in it.

Where was your car hit, front or back, or side or what? Any pictures?

I'll post pics of my car soon as I get my film developed. The body doesn't look as bad as I'd thought, but the frame got bent underneath the body damage on mine.

the damage is from were tha front bumper meets the fender all the way back to maybe 1/2 way through the 1/4 panel on the drivers side all it needed was a new fender new driver door skin and the body work done to the rest thats it the back door had a crease in it same with the 1/4 panel no frame damage maybe new hinges for the doors thats about it this kinda pisses me off cause this is going to be my seconded caprice that they totaled on me and this on had way less miles on it than the 9c1 i had before it i thought i could bring my car to the body shop that i work at and they would take care of my car but they ended up doing me wrong i'll never recommend them to anyone but life goes on and better thing come your way latter you just have to wait it out

When the insurance company totaled my 91 out after the front end got mangled, I took the money and had the bodywork done and got a new engine - the L05 this time. The paint hasn't been done, yet, so my maroon Caprice has a white American Cab front end, but she runs. The paint can come later.
