Can anyone tell me how to take off the section between the steering wheel and the dash (the section with the shifter and turn signal lever)? The bolts that hold it tight there have came out and I can't seem to figure what s holding it on there. Any help is appreciated.

No its 3 bolts I believe and you have to take most of the column apart. I found the name of the part thats holding me up. They are called pivot pins and apparently I need a special tool to remove them. Thanks anyways

Ask the question here....

www.b-bodies.tk.....it's a Dutch forum, but all those guys speak/write English well and they are nuts about the boxy Caprices/Impalas from '77-'90.

They can help you for sure.
