Check out http://www.limobob.com/

If you're building this for anything other than a novelty, good luck.

The viability of a limousine as a money maker is directly related to its age. Old body style Towncars will rent for 10-20% less than the new body style, for example.

People always ask what year car. Admitting I have a 95 Fleetwood will turn some people off, so I wind up trying to avoid having the question asked.

Good Luck.

Mark what is your plan for the limo after completion? Are you doing it for promotion of your business or as a rental?

For another good message board for the limo Industry you can try here:
Limos.com Message Board
There are many knowledgeable people there about the history of the safety programs of the coach builders and even a rep from the Lincoln Livery Program

I have a few contacts at Krystal Koach I can get you the numbers of that may be able to help. I would definately try to use thier new controll panel for the rear, best controll and electronics I have seen in the industry for years!

In some of the old posts it made a reference to Tiffany Coachworks being the builder of this origional limo. I could have sworn I saw construction pictures at one time. Wonder if Tiffany still has any photos or drawings you could use:
Tiffany Limousine

And this maybe the origional owners who had the Limo Built, Do not know if it still a good number or not:
Comfort Zone Limousine Service 410-590-6554

What color you going to paint it??

Later!!

Steve,

Thanks for all the info. This limo will be used for promoting the business. We also really need it because whenever we take Impalas & Caprices to a car show or sale event the family kids and employees end up riding in the big crew cabs with trailers behind with our load. If we had a limo we could pile the ladies and kids into that leaving more room in the trucks for employees and baggage. We are not really looking to rent it out but if someone wants to pay maybe! But we are already busy enough unless we have nothing going on that night or day. Of course we could and would barter the limo for free advertising.
