Hey Guys...I'm looking for 9c1 caprices and I found this company on the net. it's www.emergencyremarketing.com. Anyway..I sent the following emails asking some questions:

The caprices that you list under your current specials page. What stage are they? Are they completely reconditioned? Any pictures available? Are there holes in the interior?

Here is the reply that the guy sent:

quote:
for $2500 you think they are completely recoditioned?

Here is the email I sent him back Telling him I thought that was awfully rude:

I'm sorry...I was just asking questions...I guess I'll take my business elsewhere if that's the kind of response I get to my questions.

Here is the reply he sent me back:

quote:
thanks.

Please don't do any sort of business with them at all. I would at least expect common courtesy from someone who has something to offer.

Anyway...Has anyone heard of American Pursuit and Performance out of Columbus, OH??? I hear that they are pretty good to deal with.

One would think so going by what they had on their website...I knew it was too good to be true....the deals were too good for any kind of refurbished car.

i emailed them and asked if they sold the crown vic police cars with the caprice SS interceptor package...rofl..

whoever responded to my email went off the deep end calling me a moron, and stating that if i didnt know what i was talking about, i shouldnt be trying to purchase a car from them.

i couldnt help myself after reading how they responded to your inquiry........i would say it is a miracle they are still in business if they respond to the legitimate questions the same way they do the the not so legit ones.

quote:
*You may order any of these current special cars in advance with a 10% nonrefundable deposit.

A little peeve of mine: IF IT IS NOT REFUNDABLE THEN IT ISN'T A DEPOSIT! IT IS A CHARGE!! Or, actually in this case, a retainer.

92CapriceOnDUBS:
from the looks of the pic in sig I think it's a 9c1 cluster in there.
digit speedo and analog tach plus analog gauges (oil, temp, volts, gas)
I maybe wrong but that's what I think it is.

It's the Caprice police/LTZ digital gage cluster. He say's right in the signiture the he has a 91 (with an LT1 in it!) so the cluster is probably stock. I have a similar one in my 91 Buick RM wagon.

My cluster is from a 92 Olds Custom Cruiser. Analog speedo to 100 mph. I figure if I go faster than that I shouldn't be looking down! It is very similar to the police cluster, in fact I used a 9c1 bezel.

Here's a better picture.
