I have the hotchkis front and rears o my car and it made a world of difference. Some people just put the older F-body fronts on but that will make our cars just puch a lot more. Stiff front sway and soft rear = Push. However the hotchkis kit comes with a larger front and a massive rear sway. And it ballances the car out nively. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

You can use a 78-81 Formula Firebird sway bar. 1 1/4 inch thick I believe. I have one on my Impala and had one on my 87' Caprice.

i havent checked the back yet, but i know for sure the front is bigger than that i measured 1.2 inches with calipers and tried the 1.25 energy bushings they were a little too small but they just fit right after torquing down

I have no idea what springs but some sort of heavy duty, monroe sensatrack shocks on all four, 94 9c1 swaybars on my box car and the cornering is just awesome, very little lean on turns and it grips great on dry pavement that is. I can really push the car and it tracks great.

my other car I have stock springs, gabriel shocks, and 9c1 swaybars and that one leans way more and the rear end will get loose earlier.

the first car however is way more bumpy over potholes and is a little too firm on RR crossings, tire does not stay flat with the road surface.

the term 9c1 is a GM designation code for police car
a vehicle specifically built for general police use and patrol. usually such vehicle will have improved engine and trans cooling as well as firmer better handling suspension, provisions for police equipment and so forth versus a civilian model
what other codes are you refering to?

Start reading around on this forum and you'll learn a lot. You can't just hop on this forum, know nothing, asking questions like this, and expect people to take you seriously.

Here is a great source. It's the Impala SS archives. I understand that your car is a 91, but much of the information here can be applied to your car (not the engine stuff, you have L05 or L03, not the LT1).
