I have re-posted this to this section because it is a b-body subject.

I can get the Caprice SS air dam script in reflective black and white. I can also get them in non-reflective other colors.
$25.00 for reflective each.
$15.00 for non-reflective each.

E-mail me if you are interested.

patgizz is right. And the 9C1 air dam also sends air into the front brakes to help keep them cool at higher speeds.

If yours is shot I would replace it as soon as you can.

Especially considering that ALL of the parts new (new center section, new 9C1 sides, and the 9 bolts you'll need to attach them) are only about $10-15 from Dal.

If you show the car, just pick up two sets and use one as your "driver" set and keep the other set nice-n-shiny (or even paint it body color) for shows only.

Dal is Dal Slabaugh at [email protected] or 800-362-9494. He is located at Vandevere Olds in Akron Ohio.

Dal sells ALL GM parts at a VERY nice discount (usually on the order of 30-50% cheaper) than your local dealer. Plus, Dal knows the B-body part numbers better than ANY other person on the planet and has EXCELLENT customer service. I've found other sources that SOMETIMES can beat Dal on price on select items (by a tiny bit), but overall Dal wins hands down.

In other words, if you're still buying your GM parts at your local dealer, you're probably getting SScrewed

Man, that is somewhere between GREAT and REALLY DANGEROUS (to your wallet at least ) to be that close to Dal!

Seriously though, go see Dal. He's definitely THE MAN when it comes to parts for our cars!
