For sale: 96 Chevy Caprice. 2nd owner since 2002 when the car had only 9000 miles. Now car has 90,000 miles. Car located halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago. Price is $2200 OBO
DGGM exterior, door spears and bumper inserts from an SS to give it an almost monochromatic look.
Currently sitting on steel rims with winter tires (Astro center caps). Car still looks pretty sweet - I always park at the back of every lot.
Mechanically car is perfect. Trans and engine original, do exactly what they are supposed to.
Exhaust is factory pipes with turbo mufflers and H-pipe, resonator delete (very quiet), Cutlass square tips
B4U factory sport suspension package
Added Airlift 2000 bags in rear springs
Factory G80 posi still laying patches
Reese Class II trailer hitch
Factory CD player
Z28 Front sway bar, ZQ8 bumpstops
Replaced brake lines 2017
Tan leather interior, carpet rated 9/10
PCM tuned for cooler fan temps, slightly firmer shifts, no AIR pump.
Mechanical fan swapped for second electric fan (with mech fan car rated to tow 5000 lbs, still have fan)
Countless maintenance items in last 16 years just ask me (fuel pump, water pump, brakes, egr, etc)
A/C works but leaks (no charge currently). Haven't run leak dye to see where leak is, but confident can be repaired
Rust - if I had a time machine I would have undercoated the car and it would be a kickass ride today. But, rust it taking hold in the front door jambs and the rear quarter panels. Recently started on floor pans. Frame is solid and all other sheetmetal in good shape. No surface rust or paint fade.
I am not on the forum much, so feel free to PM me for details or offers or if you want to talk on the phone. Any pictures wanted, give a holler.
