How to distinguish 9c1 coil springs?

Hello,

I am building a Fleetwood, and I plan to use SS springs up front and 9c1 springs in the rear. I have found a set of rear coil springs that were removed from a 9c1 with approximately 90k miles on it. Is there any way for me to know for sure that they are genuine 9c1 springs? The seller made it very clear that he does not know if the springs were original to the car, or if they had already been replaced by a previous owner.

Thanks,

Matt

Here's couple pics of a pair genuine GM NOS 9C1 rear springs I sold few years ago. You didn't mention if the paper tags are on the springs you're looking at.

I would assume there are no paper tags. I asked the seller if he could see any kind of identifiers, and he said no.

Any chance there might be a part number somewhere?
