I cant find a thread about this so does anyone know the part number for 9c1 spec moog springs or at least close? Just not shorter and weaker than a 9c1 spring thanks .just for the front pair not the back maybe someone got some for sale.
The wire diameter of any possible aftermarket replacement is where you need to start.
First, identify which Moog springs are listed for the B-body. Then look at the specs of each, and see if any are relatively close to the OE spring as far as wire diameter, number of turns, free length, etc.
To do that, you will need the info on OE springs, which is not published--gotta get your hands on some OE takeoffs to compare, but if the info in the linked post above is accurate, we're talking about 0.719" wire diameter.
I'm not alone, but doing a SEARCH using the Advanced Search option, I ran the term "spring", my screen name, searched in Suspension forum, and that brought up 51 threads. If you just run "spring" and no name, there are 255 threads plus yours. Finding the "right" one is the challenge.
Lots of other threads and posts--some of mine, just for a quickie:
