Just picked up a 1979 Catalina 4 door for $200.00. Looking around the garage i found two sway bars from my wagon project.

1. Is the stock front bar from my 1991 Caprice wagon.

2. Is a Stock 1991 SEDAN rear bar.

The Catalina is the full size car, not the G-body size. Since the Catlina is essentally a caprice, will these fit?

it matters what type of sway bar it is i never really looked at it but i believe the newer ones have rounded ends that fit into bushings? correct me if im wrong and the older ones are flattend on the end and bolt up to a boxed control arm.

Yes, they should fit. I put front and rear SS bars on my '83(thanks again Troy!) and they fit just fine. May have to change rear control arms to ones having the provisions to bolt a bar up. The hardware will probably be standard, not metric.
