Okay, I'm in the midst of swapping parts from my 93 9C1 (for sale) with those on my 95 9C1. Last night after finishing the SS/stock wheel swap, I noticed that my 95 9C1 has that 4WD look, but my 93 9C1 didn't when it wore the SS shoes. What gives? I read another post that new shocks need to settle, does an older suspension need to settle too after being fully extended for about an hour on each end (front/rear)? I was unimpressed after the swap. It's been raining non-stop for a day and a half and I'm 30 miles from the 95, so I'll get another look at it tomorrow when I do plugs and wires.

Is it possible for the 93 and 95 9C1s to have different springs?

My '96 9C1 sits taller than my '94. When I put SS wheels on the '96, it looked as you described. I bought some Intrax springs to solve the problem but I haven't put them on yet.

I just figured the PD I bought the '96 from put on real HD springs.
