I totalled my impala last year.. and I just got a hold of another 96. I had the eibach springs and I was not satisfied with the drop in the back. The front looked great. This time around anyone have some recomendations on springs?

Eibach
H&R
Intrax
Suspension Tech

The Intrax and Suspension Tech claim 2.0 inches all around. Does anyone have these 2 springs and if so how do they perform.

Please give me your input.

Thanks

I have Intrax and like them. I would either get them or the ST. The H&R will be a little higher, not sure on how high. I would not get Eibachs, they are never the same on the drop distance and they sag a lot over time.

I have only seen pictures of th ST, but with Intrax the car sits even, no rake. Do a search for Intrax and you will get numerous pictures of them.

Trance, check my domain site. I'm on ST's in all of those pics. I like 'em, but the ride was terrible until I installed the Bilsteins.

tbsimmons , how is the ride with intrax? I don't want to cough up the money on shocks right now. So ride quality is important to me. With my eibachs previously the ride was still fine, but the back sat so high by comparison.

Don't get me wrong. My old shocks were wasted. If your shocks are in good shape and you trim your bump stops, I'm sure your ride would be fine.

I had stock shocks for a while and it was alright, not the best, but it worked. I would get Bilstiens though when money permits. They made the ride a total different one.

Hey I bought a set of 2" drop springs from SuspensionMax.com (well from them off their ebay sales) called Spring Tech springs, I cant tell u much for how they do for the car but the price was $142.50 shipped. I will install these springs in Dec when I get back to the states, Im just throwing these out there as an option. And Spring Tech the company says these springs have a lifetime warranty on em so if they ever do start to sag u can send em in and get a new set.
