I have the rapid pump... and I agree with what autocrosser said. You can see this jack deflecting under the weight of half the SS. Also definately have a jack stand as well if your getting under the car.
SERIOUSLY, do not buy this if it is your only jack.... only buy it for quick lifts for corners. For that it's great....or a much smaller car.
I have some very sturdy jacks that I use (always with jack stands) when I get under the car. However, I need a very low profile jack to fit under the frame in the front.
I think that I'll pass on the smaller 91039 and go with the 47246.
The round aluminum plate that contacts the car? cracks? If yes, does it lift off like on other jacks and does it go into a standard size hole so that I can either use a pad out of an other jack or make a new stronger one for it.
Moving away from my target weight and no higher rating than the Harbor Freight, altough I would guess based on the weight and the brand (without having seen either in person) that the Harbor Freight unit would yield first.
Craftsman also has a 2 ton $200 aluminum jack tha t weighs 44 lb. Craftsman $200 aluminum jack
I wonder if they have sales on it and how much off they would discount it?
The Harbor Freight 47246 should be all I need since I am looking for a "real" jack that is very low so that it can fit under the frame in the front and light enough to carry in the trunk. Use will be 1 corner at a time tire service or jack stand placement.

Yes, I've seen pics on the 'net of cracked baskets (as in cracked in two) off of the Harbor Freight jacks (do a yahoo search for "floor jack safty" and you'll see what I mean). I bought this Craftsman AL jack and so far so good. I've lifted the whole front end up by the cradle many times. No problems whatsoever!
