Here are the shots of the old bushing and bolt removal.

In this first shot you can see the "nut" tucked in under that flimsy hold down strap. The hold down is so thin you can just pop it up with a screwdrive and snip it out of the way. The first three shots are of the mount just inside the front doors.

These shots are the mount locations just inside the rear doors.

Here are the 2 cut locations on the drivers side of the trunk.

Rustic,

When you install new body bushing and bolt, do you use new nut since holding strap has gone?

I know this is an old post... but I see that there were a couple of questions at the end that I didn't answer.

It's a 95 9C1 that I'm building for the NASA American Iron Series.

Yes... I had to buy an assortment of bolts, nuts and washers to put it all back together. The only things I reused were the funnel or cone shaped washers in a few locations.

Hank Hill: "Remember, safety glasses not only make you look cool, but they're a very functional tool."

Great pics, Chris !

Yea.... safety first!!! I have 3 or 4 pair of glasses around the shop for this very reason... not sure why I didn't have them on in that shot... I may have just been posing for the camera
