I recently switched from a Hotchkis to an HO rear bar. After reading how an HO bar can cause the BMR arms to break, I decided to upgrade from BMR to the Global West lower control arms. After reading this thread, I ordered the Herb Adams kit from Totally Stainless to replace the bolts that came with the BMR arms. I asked for the Herb Adams/HO kit. The Totally Stainless representative said they only had two choices one for 94-95 and the other for 96 Impala with boxed stock arms. Since the bolts with the 94-95 kit were clearly too short, I ordered the 96 kit. I just received the GW arms and the Totally stainless bolts. The bolts are about 3/4 inch too long (or the thread depth too short)considering the size of the GWs and the HO bar. Did I get the right set of bolts? If so, what did you use to make up the space -metal spacers or stacked washers? Thanks.
