I am having problems finding someone to align my lowered Caprice. They have a 2in drop in front and a 3in drop in rear. These are with Sprint springs. Does anyone know of a shop in the Chicagoland area that will do an alignment for me? Thanks.

If you want to come up to Racine or happen to be in the area I can recommend one. They did a great job with my car, I was very happy. They had no concern that the car was lowered and when I asked them if they would align it to "The Specs", they were like "...whatever, we'll align it to whatever specs you want." $75 bucks and it made the front end feel brand new and the car now corners unbelievably. But, again, it's here in Racine.

Sean, shoot me some additional information. Also, what are "the specs"? Thanks.

The place is called Klamm's alignment here in Racine. They're actually not too far off the interstate. They're kind of old school. I was telling him that "The Specs" were actually within factory specs, just more specific and the guy was like "...we don't generally use factory specs anyways."

"The Specs" themselves are the generally accepted specs that give the best combination of increased handling capability and minimal tire wear. Use the search function and just put in "alignment". Anything Autocrosser responded to has the improved specs. I can't recall them off hand, or i'd give them to you. If you're serious about the alignment shop, let me know. I'm going to surf around on the computer for a bit but i'll check back in a while.
