Which HAL QA1 Shocks to use - Chevy Impala SS Forum

I'm interested in the 12 way adjustable QA1 shocks. Im going to be putting these on a 96 buick wagon with hotchkis front springs and CC507 rears. Looks like there a few choices for compressed and extended length, what length would you guys recommend for my choice of lower springs? Also would this same shock allow me to change the rear wheels without removing the lower shock bolt? Thanks all

I contacted HAL about using these yearround in this climate and they basically discouraged it saying that that is not what they were meant for, not tested for and not really advisable. Basically said they were for fairweather cars.

Well I won't be driving the wagon during our wonderful winter season so I guess im in luck
