I need a favor from you. Can you measure the height from the ground to the top of the wheel opening on both front and back? I have an unusually low (from the factory) stance on my SS. I like these springs for their progressive nature but not sure if it will lower it the advertised amount or slightly less. Please note if you have an SS or a Caprice/9C1.

On my 9C1 I got Front: 26 10/16" Rear: 26 9/16" with old BFG 255/50/17's and moldings off. These measurements lead me to believe that the rear openings are smaller than the front. I say that because I have a noticeable rake, and yet the top of the rear opening is 1/16th closer to the ground. Anyone noticed that before?

Yes the openings in the back are lower.

Thanks for mentioning the tire size. I forgot to take that into account.
