I posted on the drivetrain section about a rumble/vibration I have been experiencing in my Imapla. Could this possibly be related to either upper or lower rear control arms being worn out or twisted or ? What should I tell the mechanic to check or should he know ?

I'd have the tailshaft bushing and tailshaft housing checked first. These are common wear areas, especially if you'd done any suspension mods. If that's not it, check the rear pinion seal and U-joints. That's not it, check the balance of the driveshaft. That's not it, check the balance of your wheels. My tires became worn over time, had them rotated, then balanced by the Hunter GSP700 machine (request Road Force Balancing). The ride is vibration-free now.
