ss springs on my 9c1 - Chevy Impala SS Forum

i just put ss springs on my 9c1 and for some reason it doesnt seem to sit low enough in the front. is it possible that they didnt put them on right. or do the ss springs not really sit to low. thanks for the help.

Well, Cat if you're sure they're SS springs,
it's possible the control arm mounting bolts
were tightened with the suspension unloaded..
THAT'LL MAKE IT SIT HIGH! The proper way to
torque these is with the car sitting on the
suspension.

well i ordered the springs from Dal. so i am pretty sure they are the right thing.

Yeah, I'd agree with you there! It may just
be everything was torqued with the suspension
unloaded. I guess it's possible the springs
aren't positioned right, the end of the spring
needs to be between the two holes in the LCA.
